Welcome! Wimberley EMS has been in service since May 28, 1976. We now have 10 full-time paramedics that staff 2 BLS ambulances with MICU capability, 24 hours a day. Two office personnel keep things running smoothly at the station. Wimberley EMS covers over 200 square miles of the beautiful Wimberley valley in Hays County Texas with a population of approximately 12,000 to 13,000 folks. We run approximately 100 calls a month. Our ambulances are stocked with cutting edge equipment that one would expect to find in any large city. We have 3 helicopter services available in our area. We transport to all the Austin area hospitals as well as Central Texas Medical Center in San Marcos and McKenna Hospital in New Braunfels. Wimberley EMS
